"Your own country" tends to work well for most people :xD: .

I'm not from any country listed on the world cup. I don't count USA as my country.

Support Slovenia. They are the smallest country.

Yes, support a country because of their size. :xD:
Look at how cute they are when they play.
Awww.

Support the Netherlands? :xD:

We're a small country, and haven't made any major cockups yet after two whole matches! :xD:

Netherlands isn't small, nor is Slovenia (still has 2 million people).

Follow cricket and cheer Bermuda on.

Pretty impressive statement from an Aussie :xD:

We only have 4 more million people than you. 10-20 million is pretty average size.

In this day and age the population of a country is far more relevant to 'size' than its physical area.

There goes Slovakia. The match was kinda meh.

Italy vs New Zealand should be better, but prolly not by much. I think NZL is gonna get pummeled.

Brazil vs Cote D'Ivoire should be a good one though. Brazil will prolly win, but the match should be heated and energetic.

NEW ZEALAND IS LEADING BY 1-0 LOL :xD:

Oh yes, definitely taking my time for that one tonight :xD: .

EDIT: the goddamn Italians just HAD to cheat their way into a penalty, didn't they?

They won last World Cup doing it... :xD:

I know, but I didn't think they'd have the nerve to do so again. I admit the NZ goal wasn't deserved either because it was offside, but the way the Italians go about it is just disgusting and bad sport.

Speaking of bad sport, it looks liek the french team is falling apart now and frankly, I think they deserve everything they get.

Shirou's Photo Shirou 20 Jun 2010

I sincerely hope Slovakia wins against the Italians, should teach em a lesson.

Ugh, the French team, who are more concerned about the ''traitor'' who leaked Anelka's insults to the press, than the actual behaviour by this 35 year old 'icon'. Domenech doesn't even have the courage to take side against this player behaviour. He has lost any kind of power he ever had against the French players' arrogance.

Speaking even more of bad sport, what the hell were the last ten minutes of Brazil v Ivory about?! Especially that farce with Kaka is just low, man.

And Domenech; fuck it, if none of the players want to support their coach, how come they didn't insist on somebody else? I think the disgustingly easy way they just shovel everything bad that's ever happened to them in Domenech's face, as if it's all his fault, proves their team never should have made it to the World Cup in the first place.

Brazil vs Cote d'Ivore was not particularly good. There were some great moments (first and third Brazil goals were made of epic win and genuis), but the second goal - omg wtf where was the referee.... and the red card.... omg wtf where was the referee (and why did he not note the playacting)? Some seriously godawful work by the officials in that match. To begin with the officials were superb - they've gone massively downhill of late, which is an incredible pity.

As for France, I seriously could not care less, about time they got what was coming to them. Although if this adversely affects Evra for next season, I shall be very very unhappy with the FFF.

Totally agree. The brazilians showed some moments of magic in parts.
Now i hope North Korea win tomorrow which would make things interesting.

Game-wise, no. But there was almost a brawl, so that game was totally worth watching imo. :xD:

The Portugese are making lamb chops out of the North Koreans. Guess Kim Jong Il will be displeased :) . Their team didn't turn out to be that strong then, after all, I guess.

EDIT: seven-nil Oo

Chile v Switzerland: the ref is VERY card-happy. I wouldn't be surprised if eventually this will trump the record set by NL v Portugal in 2006 where there were 4 reds and 18 yellows :) .

7:0? That's actually pretty sad. I expect that some of their players will no longer be in the team next time around.
