Who else has money on the Netherlands tonight?

Me :P .

Should be possible, especially with Suarez out. It would be extremely typically Dutch to perform way too well and then fail against a mediocre or bad opponent though.

I think the Dutch may even take the cup! But more likely to reach the final at least.

This is why I have money on Uruguay :P The Netherlands, Spain and England are teams you should never back in big/important games.

I also have money of Uruguay in a way (Forlan to be the top scorer.)
They have played well so far this tournament although technically they shouldn't still be in it.

I wonder if the fact that he stole that title is what caused Maradona to mess up his shot at the cup :P

Yep.
Although the second should have been given offside by the new rules. Van Persie tried to make contact and is therefore active and therefore offside.
Also, how Van Bommel wasn't sent off i have no clue. Several challenges which all should have been at least yellow.
Oh well, My final hope lies with Spain tomorrow :P

Did you see what he was actually booked for in the end? Asking the ref how long was left.... :P

Very odd considering some of those horrible tackles in the first half.

I was enamored by that match. Was epic fun and both Van Bommel's and Forlan's goals were amazing. Hoping Germany don't take the cup :P

Dare I say this wasn't our best match yet? :P

Still, what was the ref thinking when se saw 95:45 on his watch and decided to card Van Bommel for thinking the match was over, ffs :read: .

Good work to the Dutchmen. At least this time the cheaters aren't going to win the cup.

Germany to win against Spain, by the way, and as I predicted a few pages back, Germany vs Netherlands final. :P

I'd rather face Spain than Germany. Even if they were stronger (which IMO they aren't). The Spaniards aren't too bad to lose to.

Yeah, that was absolutely awesome :o . You wouldn't expect it of him, either  . It's usually Sneijder as makes that kind of shots, or Robben :sly: . Forlan's wasn't exactly bad either, btw.

Robben's header was hundreds of times better than GVB's goal. That would never have gone in without the Jubiliani.

Yeah, that one was awesome too. I'm still not sure how he managed to head a ball that came up behind him into the goal  .

The fact that it was behind him actually helped, forcing him to actually use his neck to score. Great goal.
