Overall to beat the TDs (not US), this is the best tactic, immobilize and strike their back or sides. American will be much harder, however, they are fast and more importantly, have 360°rotation
With the exception of T28/T95 and the first TDs, which still looks liek to have large area of firing.

The American TD's, minus the T28/T95, have next to no armour. They might as well have paper between the crew and the elements, because tanks in tiers 2-3 can penetrate US TD's such as the M10 Wolverine, and the M18 Hellcat (which we have yet to see an appearance from). Yes, I realize the M10's armour is sloped, but thin armour is still thin armour.
However, this does not mean I do not wish to try the US TD's out (oh only if this could happen before full launch). I do happen to like the M18 and the M36B1, mostly for the guns they mount, and secondly because of their appearance.

I know how all ordinary US TDs look like, and they are quite... strange
The best ones are from Wolverine above, under them the TDs looks ... strange, nothing else I can say

To my knowledge, those tank destroyers under the M10 never saw combat, and most were an exercise in design.
I never mentioned the US TD's appearances, only that they'll be rather easy to kill, even if the M10 or M18 are rather speedy.

They will be, but they were designed for speed and rotation, it would be interesting (and maybe pain) to fight them

I almost managed to kill an Object 212, one more hit, but he got me point blank XD

I've been seeing a rising number of Obyekt 212's but I've never had the pleasure of killing one. There must be people thinking of gearing up for the tier 9 arty above the 212.

Object 261 has the same chassis like IS-7, and I must say, it is the best Soviet arty when I mean the appearence. Really great-looking!
And about destroying a tanks, you can look on my game profile and see that I have a Master Tanker, something what not everyone has

I might be mistaken, but that only shows you how little I actually care about arty. Obyekt 261 is going to be a royal pain.
Pre-orders are now being taken, and the launch date is set for April 12th. Prices for the 3 packages are as follows: Light tank package featuring the A-32 and 12,500 gold = $45. Medium tank package featuring the Pz. IV/V and 18,700 gold = $67. Heavy tank package featuring the M6A2E1 and 25,000 gold = $90.
Apparently pre-order gold prices have been given a 10% discount.

Fuck that is expensive!
I was gonna buy the small and the medium package, but suddenly that Pz IV/V is looking a lot more brittle and weak than it used to...
Actually, now that I look at it; a Pz IV turret on a Panther chassis? What a mentally disabled idea.

The Germans were trying new things to get an edge with their tanks. In the end, it was more their fixation on quality over quantity, rather than their tank's design that killed them.

Holy, that is expensive... Not gonna get a game for £30+ anytime soon.
I did a little math, and $1 will buy you roughly 278 gold in the light and heavy packages, while, with the medium package, $1 buys you 279 gold. Honestly, the prices seem steep, and when you have no money, they are, but for how much gold you're getting, and the amount of gold per $1, it's actually a decent deal.

It's free to play, but without gold, you're pretty much not gonna be able to turn a profit after tier 6, accompanied by serious amounts of grinding.

Peh, I knew this game was eventually going to follow the lame F2P system with item shop, but removing the gold completely for those who don't pay is just lame. I'm glad I ditched it already, I know a couple friends of mine which will be disappointed by this...

You mean, has anyone bothered to buy some gold at a discounted price in bulk with some freebies? (how the heck to you pre-order a free-to-play downloadable game anyhow?)
I have, the light tank version, since it was the most "affordable" one and had a pretty decent tank.
I don't really feeling like grinding as much as I used to, so I'm gonna need some gold and premium every now and then to make the whole process go faster. Plus, I'm gonna get gold eventually for tanks like the 38H and the KV-5 so might as well get it now when it's cheap.

It's a shame they decided to release it soon, I'm like 1000xp from a KV.
Be happy then, vanilla KV is the shittiest shit that has ever shat.
You need to grind to the moon and back before it becomes something rather terrifying.
Currently, I've stopped all of my grind quests (object 704 and Tiger G-wagon) and have just bought back some old tanks and some gold tanks for fun. So far 38H (German tier 2 premium) is incredible, reaching AT-1 levels of hilarious OP-ness.
