Dam piggies on horses!
That guy when i walked past was trying to leave and saying he wanted no trouble but the fuzz just abused their powers and used the horses to bully to poor bastard.
if it where me if glass the horse and kick it in the knee cap and run, see if those unfit fucks can keep up

We have the cavalry in larger cities too. If you see some of the traffic congestion here it isn't uncommon to be able to get to A to B quicker on foot than in a car. I'd hardly call it 'farmers', just efficiency.

Besides, horses are cooler than bicycles.

I think I showed you a video before where they were carrying G3s, but they can also have G36Cs (although I think this is in special cases).

They also use the Thumper, or Blooper as we call it here, for riot control. It's not supposed to be fired direct, but there've been cases where it has and it has blinded the victim/protestor/delete applicable term.

doesn't police all over the world still use horses?? mainly for riot control AFAIK.

@chyros: as a dutchman, calling people peasants may just be a tad hypocritical don't you think? (as a resident of belgium i can't say much myself either).

At least we have a population density bigger than three people per square kilometre . Besides, being about as much of a city boy as you can get, I consider everything outside of the Randstad (the conglomerate of biggest cities in the Netherlands) to be not part of the Netherlands .

Not here - NI is probably one of the few countries where police cavalry tactics are obsolete.
