I've got a PSP too, i bought it in a value pack, i gots 2.71 firmware, a 32mb memory stick -_-
i use it when i'm bored and i put a few songs on it too

I got a value pack at launch, and I have 3 games, but I lost Wipeout Pure. I got lots of umd movies though. I'm gettin pretty sick of the battery life on the darn thing though.

well all you need to do is charge it up every night, or get a second battery but IMO you only need to charge it every night to get decent use out of it, unless you play on it non-stop in which case leave it plugged inot the mains whilst playin.

woohoo. firmware 2.71 is hacked. But it only works with the undiluted platinum Mod chip.

you need to get the undiluted platinum mod chip for switching back to older firmware but with epsilons hacked 2.71 you don't even need to do that.

because anything above 1.5 doesn't allow you to run custom homebrew application. There are some sweet NES, SEGA emulators for the PSP which only work on 1.5 and nw the hacked version of the 2.71 firmware by eplison

Yeah, they even made a 2D version of Super Smash Brothers for the PSP. But it only works on v1.5.

with 1.5 you can run umd iso from the memory card. put your noggin together and figure it out.

You gotta find some wireless code, mine worked but then it decided to crap out on me a few weeks later. I've been wanting to play some people at NFS:MW for awhile now but, of course, it won't work.

Well Nintendo has had plenty of time for making something like the PSP and sure as hell has never gotten close. The smallest thing Microsoft has managed to build is the xbox 360. Sony wins by far, there is no way that either of them can compete with Sony, even though one or the other is currently attempting to make one.

There needs to be a wireless router near you. Then you configure your PSP accordingly. Are you sure your game supports it? If you're looking for a real online game, play Twisted Metal: Head On. Fun. As. Hell.

yes i do have a wireless network in my house and the configuration part is what i need help with because i heard you can play wipeout pure online and i want to try (that and battlefront 2 but im not sure if that one does internet play)
