As for me
I own a 2.6 firmware PSP and i only got one crappy game Starwars Battlefront II.

I mostly use it as an MP3 player and Video player. Just ported the CnC 3 Trailer to the PSP and it looks pretty good on the PSP wide screen. :dj:

Prophet, you bought it for more than games only then? Since SW Battlefront II is also available for the pc as well.

yhea i got it more as mobile entertainment. its a good thing to have when i go to my native village during vacations. 1/3rd of the times the electricity isnt working so you need some entertainment.

the interface is quite good. i think CnC's 2d games can easilly be ported to PSP format if Ea ever gets the time. PSP seriosuly needs an RTS game. Right now only racers and FPS games are any good on the PSP.

what the fuck. where did my attachment go. cant belive this. i just spent 20 minutes uploading it.

well it runs 3 hours with full volume and high brightness. 8 hours of pure music play. 4 hours of video play.

i got it to last about 7 hours of game play but i had brightness down too

I got 6 hours on my settings. (Medium brightness, ALVS max volume) Also, v2.7 is out now. We can now watch Flash on the PSP!

ya i heard but i dont think its even supported by sony so i dont know if i want to risk my pride and joy with that.
the only use i can see with flash on the psp would be for internet games which wouldnt be bad on a rainny day i think.

not gonna shift to 2.7 yet. you need a live netconnection through wifi to activate the flash feature. i cant activate it sinc ei have no access to any wifi hotspots. gonna stick with 2.6 so atlest there is some hope of running homebrew shit.

i have the ability to watch a full wide screen movie and play GTA. Beat that you podders. Also a new 8 gb memory stick is gonna be out soon so we are gonna own the ipods ass soon.

You know marcomedia flash. the internet plugin needed to play some animation and games seen around the web.

and i figured out how to enable flash on it too i was playing bowman2 on my psp and i was like "o ya im sooo cool way better then any of you Ipodders" too bad my school doesnt have wifi or i would bring it to school and play flash games .

o and 8GB!? are you jk? thats soo much space i know they have a 1GB one a best buy for like 60$ i wonder how much the 8GB one will be? like 100$

OOO i got one too but i only got it in september since the Uk's release date was put way back; but i have a 256mb memory stick, version 2.7, wipeout pure, GTA, and battlefront 2. i dunno why people compare it to the ds though since there not in the same league.

oh and to enable the flash thing got to system settings enable flash player

a friend of mine has 2 of them and he wants my phone and he gives me the psp
its a new one 1 week used by his grandpa and his grandpa gives it to hik but he already has one hehe

woohoo. you are not gonna regret it. the psp is the bomb. just remeber to get a high capacity card.

Also typhoon2 is it true that you dont need an active connection to activate Flash. i though you need to some site to activate it. if not i am updating mine by next week.

ps: you can access saved flash files on the memory card by opening the file in the address box

it should look something like
root/flash/file.swf
