[Chyros]

With a title blatantly stolen from Name that Game!, I present you a game I've had in mind for a while. Basically, an excerpt from a track of a few seconds is posted, and you need to guess what track and artist it is. The rules are simple

-the excerpt may or may not contain lyrics, but if they do contain lyrics, they cannot contain the track's title.
-the excerpt should be representative of the track, so not just some portion you wouldn't associate with the track.
-the track may not be from a movie or game primarily (to keep it manageable).
-looking up the lyrics on the internet is cheating and punishable by removal of the genitals with a barbecue spatula.

The easiest way to make an excerpt is probably by taking an MP3 file and using ctrl+x/ctrl+v in Audacity to cut and paste a portion out of the track and save it as a new file. Audacity is easy to use and free: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

The one who guesses what track it is gets to post the next track. After let's say three days, if no-one guessed it, the next turn if up for grabs. Like Name that Game, you must wait for the poster to confirm you've won.

If they can even understand the lyrics . Seriously though, like I said in the opening post, looking up the lyrics is cheating and people simply shouldn't do it. We could disband Name that Game for similar reasons since a reverse image search would reveal everything too anyway .

Alan Lomax. No, it's just a track with that in it. Tbh I never knew of that track you posted. This particular track isn't from the original artist though, it's MUCH more modern - about ten years old or something.

Eh, well I heard the same lyrics from Blue and Moby. And when searching for the artists I found a good number of covers of the song I posted too. I guess I don't have any idea about what track you posted then

Sooo... I've remembered hearing that song in a Citroen ad with penguins, so I googled that, and didn't find the ad, but I ultimately found an orchestra named Penguin Cafe :
