Tom will have to come through London to go up north anyways, we'll just tell him horror stories and get him so pissed he can't move. He'll never make it out of the City

Can't I get you to somewhere nice Wiz, Brum is a grim place to go out. You only head onto Broad Street if you want to catch something. Seriously York is a very pretty city and I'm sure you can get London prices so you'll feel at home.

York is far too far away for 3 of the 5 of us. Brum or London are the only real options imo.

Going to be honest, the fact you have only two places on your list of nice places to go in Brum probably sums it up I still reckon London would be best - pricier perhaps, but probably worth it

I'm a student, most places I eat/drink are on the cheaper side. Most pubs in harborne do real ales, but none to the level of the Wellington, which is why I didn't bother noting them down.

Besides, nobody besides myself has yet suggested any places, so 2 is better than nothing.

Note: I and probably others do aim to spend the night wherever it is we're drinking so this might be a factor worth considering too .
