I like the idea of a splitting skill tree, sounds all the more fun :) . I'm also quite chuffed at how much detail they apparently put into the weapons, because that's arguably the original's biggest strength; it's practically a gun simulator in a zombie coop that doesn't take itself too seriously.

Ermagherd it just looks so fantastic! :D

When he shot them with the AA-12 I think it did look like the limbs might be blown off a tad easily but the sheer detail they're going into here is just amazing!

Well, it is the AA-12 and they are the weakest zombies :P

When they show the KF1 footage as a comparison it's crazy how much more detail there is.

So that's Something, Gunslinger (:D!), Dragon (:D?), Support, Sharpshooter, Firebug, Medic, Demo, Commando, and Berserker? I'm really in doubt as to which one I like most - apart from Berserker, I've always found all perks to be really fun in KF1 :D .

I've personally fallen in love with the shotguns in KF. So I have been playing alot of support. So that's gonna probably be my most played class in KF2 too.

Support is definitely one of the most empowering classes in KF1. I did think there were a tad too few choices in terms of shotguns though, so I wouldn't mind if they put a whole bunch more in.

I'm very glad they put the Gunslinger class in though, that's always been an obvious design hole from the original for me. It's based on a mod that creates a class for the pistols, giving especial affinity when dual-wielding them.

The dual-wielded revolvers were pretty bad-ass too

I think I may have to have a katarna backup...

Also, this screenshot confirms terminator style skeleton for the fleshpound. Scary stuff D:

Yeah, I'm sure the gore will increase the appeal of melee weapons especially. In KF1 they look rather silly. Love the Gorefast parry too, looks really good.

But not just that, though. Just look at the details. Flicking blood off the blade? Katana wrist flick? Unsheathing sword strike? Fuck to the actual yeah! :D

We are all sick people for enjoying this. I don't feel guilty, I feel exhilarated :xD: I love that parry. Makes Berserkers fare better off! Imagine deflecting the Patriach's minigun 8|

"ONE IN THE PIPE!" *ricochet sound*

:P

All this does make me wonder what they have in store for the OTHER melee weapons, as well :D .

I want to be able to slice a rocket in half!

Also, I would love a lead pipe that does blunt damage. That would look sick.

Katana
-Motion blur
-Draw strike: You can equip and attack with one motion
-"Reload" when bloody, and you'll swipe the blood off
-Reload when not bloody and you'll do a little blade twirl thing

Awww yeah! The reload idea is great.

Why can't more game companies be like tripwire : < We would have sooo many good FPS-games instead of another CoD >.<

Activision and EA became addicted to money, that's why. Why put effort into a game when you can churn out the same shit every year and make billions?

Thing is, people who actually work on making the game ( such as visual artists ) really puts effort into making the game. But somehow at the highest point of the working hierarchy orders them re-make the same shit over and over again instead of let them use their creativity and make something refreshing. And yes, simply because to release a new game every year instead of a couple years.

Meanwhile smaller developer companies can invest more time on making games because they don't have that much personnel working for them. Big companies have larger developing teams therefore requires more money to keep the company going. Thats why they have to constantly release and suck money. And of course a couple dozen million dollars also goes into the pockets of the ceos. Thats how capitalism works :P

I have high hopes for this game since this game not created by the barons of the gaming industry. But then again lets wait and see ^^

It's coming to PS4.
I don't really care about that (haven't owned a console in years), however we do get some tasty new footage.

I really doubt Tripwire will sell out and dumb down the game, it's just not their style.

Edit:
The Scrake is still wearing his creepy apron.
