I'm looking for someone to help me come up with a script for new voice lines for the new Rise to Power units.


New units so far:
Allied Frostbite Cryotruck

British Light Tank
French Howler Artillery
German Whirlwind Scout Tank
Korean Gyrocoptor
American Paradrop Trike

Russian Cerberus Flame Tank
Cuban Breaching Tank


We're aiming to have a similer selection of voice lines to RA2;
4-5 Attack commands
3-6 Move commands
3-5 Select commands

As an example, here's the Rhino;
A1: Target sighted
A2: Encountering enemy
A3: We will bury them
A4: Attacking!
M1: Location confirmed
M2: Moving
M3: Changing position
S1: Vehicle reporting
S2: Ready comrade
S3: Awating orders

Are there personalities or attitudes already given to these units or can anyone suggest one to a few, like the Ceberus Flame Tank's driver could be insane (probably from all the people he literally burned to a crisp)?

There's no concrete personalities yet, but do keep in mind the country of origin for some units (eg; French Howler).

I'm really liking those Frostbite suggestions.

-S1: Must the flame wait any longer?!
-S2: *insert evil chuckle here* Shall I share my gift?
-S3: Cerberus Tank, ready to burn!
-M1: Burn a path to them!
-M2: Spread the glow.
-M3: We shall spread our glory!
-A1: INTO ASHES!
-A2: Purge their soul!
-A3: Mother Russia sends her regards!
-A4: Burn them, BURN THEM ALL!

I find it to be fun posting these script lines.

Cuban Breaching Tank:
-S1: Yes, comrade General?
-S2: We are Soviet's battering ram.
-S3: Who's walls you want brought down?
-S4: Need a turret pounded?
-M1: Yes sir, moving there now.
-M2: Keep eye out for hostiles.
-M3: Make sure we're not going in too close...
-A1: They think they're tough!
-A2: Bringin' in the hammer!
-A3: Crack their shell!

I would like to do Cerberus Tank but I don't think I'd sound good, maybe audacity can change the voice to something like in a tight, metal cockpit, maybe lower/increase the pitch.

Oh God, why am I excited about the voice acting? Not even sure if I would sound good. :|

S1: Bonjour, Commandant.
S2: Who shall be my target?
S3: Howler Artillery, at your service.
M1: Moving there now, Commandant.
M2: Be careful, she's fragile...
M3: Ah, yes, a good spot!
A1: <chuckle> Cover your ears, she can be loud!
A2: Death from above!
A3: Heh, he's going to feel this one.

Your work is pure gold.
I only see a couple of things I would change;
Cuban Breaching Tank S2: it's not russian.
Allied Frostbyte Cryotruck A3: "Let's make a snowman" It's more universal than popsicle (e.g. They're called 'ice lollys' here in the UK)

I had to give that a second thought on the Breaching Tank, maybe S2: We are Soviet's battering ram!

As for the cryotruck, okay. I am still getting around to recording a voice for the Cerberus Tank.

Not very good at this but here goes :
For the German Whirlwind Scout Tank

S1 Guten Tag commander!
S2 Let's go find out what they're upto.
S3 Yes sir?
S4 Allied scout tank reporting.
S5 We see everything.

M1 New location recieved.
M2 Of course commander.
M3 Getting there.
M4 Careful now!
M5 They won't know.

A1 Now's our chance!
A2 Tschüss! or Gute Nacht! ( I would have used Auf Wiedersehen but it literally translates to "until we see again.")
A3 Fire!
A4 Eliminating target.
A5 There they are!

Because they no longer need lines scripted. ^_^

Now that I read my lines again I realize that many of these were used by units in older C&C games I didn't know when I came up with them.
