Can the Gat car (sry forgot what it was called) for Gen. Fai be changed to look like this.
Because personally I think this would look much better!

Well it really doesn't look much different to the Road Grinder except for the Yurified body kit and a double gat cannon on a round turret.

So nay from me.

Well, I don´t really like the style of it, but I agree that fai´s roadgrinder could be beefed up a bit. Such a great unit deserves to have a more awesome look...
Now go out and procreate. IN THE NAME OF DOOM!

I have actually. I preffer it over RA2 due to the better voice acting, even if the songs sucked in comparison.

I noticed that the Grinder's gattling gun is just as powerful as the Gattling Tank's. Is that on purpose?

whats the deal with about all the suggestions made from EA concept art lately? I mean EA would've made Generals and ZH awesome if they had some of these...but I think theres a little too much of it

And the fact that the YR campaign sucked and was dull. And The Yuri side was unbalanced. But it WAS a good idea to stop tank rushing.

I'll just use what Prophet said in your last post tictac: "No ways in hell. Nothing from the abomination Yuri's reveng should be put in. i hate yuri."

Keep in mind I didn't hate Yuri, BUT the sentiment applies. Yes, that Gat tank looks cool, but I don't think it should be added to ShW.

Yes, the Yuri side was unbalanced. However, me and my friends forbid the use of Yuri. You gotta admit there were some really creative units however.

Notice they were all by the same guy.

And yes, I am fine with the armored car...It looks Chinese enough, though I think it'll look quite funny in reality...Seriously Yuri can really own stuff considering he can mind control stuff and put them in the grinder.

Forbid? Hell no. Just more difficult to battle - makes for a more interesting game. But things like boomer rushing is genereally banned - no way to stop it really. Really good unit ideas yes :)

Yuri wasn't really better afterall, but generally speaking he was for most people since fighting him is difficult as it takes a completely different way of thinking to defeat him.

He's easy to use and difficult to fight against. However, if you managed to figure out how to counter and find weaknesses, he wasn't as bad. Most of his units don't do much direct damage or any at all.

I think the Allies were the most powerful side as you could do alot of damage very very fast. Well set up Rolling fortresses, chrono legionares, and herioc Prism tanks wreaked havoc that made Apocalypse cry.



(I looked in the INI file at what some of the original values. WHOA they had some crazy stats! Lashers cost 600 but had 200 health and were faster. Mind Towers and Masterminds could control five units normally. His walls had 900 health originally instead of 300. The gattling tank and tower did three times the damage. The magnetron had longer range. Slaveminer was cheaper. Flying disc had more health. Brutes did more damage. His super weapon had way more mind control range. THAT was way out of whack. :)).

And his initiate did 153% more damage when in structures...
(while GIs did about +15-30% i think)

Really? I loved the campaign..the detour to Hollywood, the moon mission, revisiting RA2 levels, etc. were awesome.

I don't understand when people complain about Boomer rushes. They cost $2000 and take lots of time to build, and their missiles are easy pickings for AA units/defences...if you get rushed by Boomers, it's because you let your opponent gain the upper hand.
Maybe it's time to lock this...we seem to be getting off topic.

Try to defend against one - if you DO manage to stop the Boomer, then you will have spent all your money on stopping the rain of missiles, when he can concentrate on getting up a formidable ground force.... Plus the boomer only requires radar.

I agree yo, the campaign is what makes this expansion more interesting, IMO. I like in particular the 6th Soviet mission, "To the Moon". :read:

the moon thing was soo lame. you could simply complete the whole mission just by using rocket soldier alone. i hated yuri. it took everything plausible out of Red alert series. RA 1 was the best but RA 2 was ok but Yuri just fucked it up.
