well i just hate it when people say halo is the best game ever because its far from it.
and then they get all pissy when i say that lol..

Seriously. People say Halo is the most increeedible game ever. I mean, games like Halo are a dime a dozen. If it didn't start something, it's not worth anything. If you play something like Final Fantasy or Half Life, they're... forerunners. Predecessors. Games ahead of their time. Play something like Halo, and it's just... boring, really. Besides. It's a console FPS. Who cares?

My take on Halo:
An awesome FPS...if you've never played one on a PC before. I was impressed at how well Halo handled on the X-box; the graphics were awesome and the game played well and had original ideas like regenerating health, player only carrying two guns at once, and usage of vehicles (Halo wasn't the first, but it was one of the first to do it well). The bad news was that Halo 1 was incredibly unbalanced in multiplayer...the handgun was a über-kill full-auto sniper gun that could beat practically everything and the hoverbike had better armour than the friggin' tank . Halo 2 multiplayer was much better but singleplayer wasn't as good. Halo's biggest problem was its own success...soon similar, but better games were released on PC, like the Call of Duty series and UT2k4. These games, being on PC, had the advantage of running on more powerful machines and having better controls. I've played Halo on the PC before, and it sucks balls in comparison to Call of Duty, UT 2k4, etc. Halo wouldn't be so popular if it wasn't practically the only FPS worth playing on consoles (personally, I think Timesplitters: Future Perfect is just as good, if not better than the Halo games).

Half Life has probably got to have the best story line for a game, in my opinion.

Nah, that's Xenogears and Xenosaga.

Well I wouldn't know what either of those story lines are. The best I've seen is Half Life.

Best storyline was Baldurs gate 2 Shadows of Amn. Half life 1's story was good but i didnt think Half life 2's was that good.

Imo F.E.A.R.'s storyline was pretty good...
But that's just my opinion...

Yeah though, Half-Life 2's storyline was good...

Yeah FEAR's was good a little hard to follow but original.

F.E.A.R is good with the surprising ending. The best part is before the ending when you are on the street and you could see in First Person View a nuclear bomb went off in front of you (flying cars and stuff)

while yes halo is some what over rated, i will not argue with that....some of the things in the artical will not sit well with me

while the story has its flaws....its not that bad.....and hopefully *HINT FUCKING HINT* bungie will learn from past mistakes and make halo 3 actually live up to some of the hype the series has generated......

Yea, just cuz you play GTA doesn't mean another COlumbine is gonna happen, unles you are mentally unstable or just wack, you won't get that from those vid games. If only i could convince my parents of this.

Master Chief is a guy but there is a female spatan named Linda can't remember her spatan number though but there are 4 or so spatans that did surivie reach Master Cheif is the one we mainly know and Linda is another but the other two or so I'm not sure.
