We already talk about bomber and fighter but what about tank and chopper?
Chopper: Commanche (stealth with FARP)
Tank: M1A2 Abrams

The best tanks of all time IMO are the German Tiger Tank's from ww2 (they pwned all other tanks,) and the good old UH-1 Huey helicopter... versatile, reliable, and still widley used today...

Tank: challenger II
helicopter: WAH-64 Apache

Tank: Challenger II
Helicopter: Hind

Tank: Leopard Two
Chopper: AH-1Z Super Cobra

Tank: The German Leopard 2 A6...AFAIK, it's actually faster than the Abrams and doesn't lack firepower or armor. The handling is also quite good and it doesn't need as much fuel as other tanks...It's also less noisy
Chopper: Apache or Hind, depending on purpose

tanks: Russian T-72, easily mass produced makes you remember this phrase :"Quantity have a quality of its own"

chooper: Mi-28 Havoc... name says it all

we used the t-28 as a proto type

the mi-24 was russian but it is sick... transport for 10+ and twice as much ammo as the apache

Tank: Leopard2A6. Not saying it lacks elswhere but MDW is right faster is better!

Helo: Mil Mi-24 Hind 'D'. Glad this behemoth gets the recognition it deserves.

To chance: Just clarifying things, transport capacity for the Hind is for only eight troops with full battlegear. Twice as much ammo is only applicable with the FFARs (Folding Fin Attack Rockets), however it carried half as much guided missiles which consisted of four AT-2 Swatters or for later models, 'D' and up, four AT-6 Spirals.

The Merkava, of course! I trust Isreals equipment over anyone elses, any day.

For the helicopter, I would choose the Mi 28 Havok. The badassness is just too overwhelming.

Tough choice

Helicopter : Ka-50 <-?-> Little Bird (dont know the actual name, but its the same helicopter in Black Hawk Down - NOT the black hawk.)
