I wouldn't go for SSD, the performance gain is not worth it for its price. Get so decent 500GB and RAID them.

I found a $180 64GB SSD and no I've tried laptops (Lenovo X301) with SSDs and performance gain is unbelievable for startup and app launch. The SSD is seriously appealing to me right now.

Mouse: A4Tech Standard Mouse |8
Operating System: Windows XP SP3 (Vortex)

Thermalright TRUE is of the BEST aircooler money can buy, it outperform water cooling system 2x its price.
http://www.xsreviews.co.uk/reviews/cpu-coo...ra-120-extreme/
GPU is cooled by a very effective aftermarket cooler, the Artic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo which keep my core under 60c even at HD4870 speed.

Even better cooling need?

OBTW E6300 is a Dual core not a quad as I am using one at 3.26Ghz now.

i don't know much about AMD processors but woaw , triway sli. that's pretty badass :P
for the rest it's a sweet rig. watercooling or aircooling? i'm assuming watercooling because of the 3 videocards.

i rate 9.5/10 because i don't know much about AMD so i can't tell much about it and it would be really really badass
if it weren't 9800GTX but GTX295 hehe. expensive but brutal but you're rig is awesome. you didn't mentioned what case you're using

Sorry 'bout that, I'm using a Aerocool Syclone case. I do have a PC that does have a 295, but it runs solo. Therefor my 9800's are faster.

Just sold my Rig to buy a Dell XPS 16" and a Dell 10, on account of starting UNI soon, and im not carting a rig to ACT and back to Tas!!!

to the people running the AMD quads or any other AMD, what are they like? I have been using Intel for all my pc's? and have never had a chance to actually give an AMD a sound thrashing!!! how do they stand up?

Well I used to be pro AMD but the ones I've had have been a let down so I moved to Intel and haven't considered going back.

No, not even three are faster. That and 3x 9800's consumes so much power that they cost more than a GTX 295 in less than a year. Silliness. You Build: 5/10 for the 3x 9800's on a 17" monitor of all things, and your wimpy PSU. I mean, who spends such cash on 3x 9800 gtx's and their stupid power consumption and neglects to get a good monitor to run it on. Fuck, I doubt those beasts have been over 50% load ever running on a 17" monitor.

AMD basically owns the $200(mid-range) market for the best CPU's. However, they can't stand up to intel in the budget($125 or less) and high-range($250+) market due to Pentium Dual Core/Cheap Wolfdale and i7 awesome.

If you'd look back you also see that I have a 24" and I do know for sure 3 GTX+'s are faster then one 295. I get higher framerates all across the boards.

I've seen the gtx 295 do some pretty amazing things in some more insane OC benchmarks. However, if you have a 24" monitor, which you build did not list, 8/10 is more it. Sorry bout that. Twas just baffled at seeing 3x 9800 gtx's being wasted on a 17" monitor.

Its ok, I got 2 screen basicly. The 24 inch and the 17 inch. At the time of posting it was hooked up on the 17. I'll be sure to buy another 24" when I get the money.
