No, I don't usually dress like that. It's the only recent picture I could find of myself, however, which was for the school formal at the end of last year.

You should totally dress like that all the time. That'd be so freakin' awesome.

Thanks General Kirkov, E.V.E. Kanan and BillyChaka (though I may not pick up on your advice - I understand it's hell to clean)! There are you see very significant advantages to having grandparents for whom ballroom dancing is a great passion. It's just as well in fact since I had no idea what the heck I was going to wear until they sent a couple of things over to try...

According to the books, he actually holds the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy, too... not that that's my actual name. Close, but not quite.

Some pictures taken of me while I was shooting my air rifle in the back yard today. It's quite sunny outside so my shirt is a bit blinding.

EDIT: should probably add that it's an air rifle, I forgot to :read:

Chyros, is that a real gun, or airsoft? If it's real, you know you're not allowed to keep weapons in Holland :)

Lol, neither, it's just an air rifle (luchtbuks, gekke Gerrit ;)). You can buy one at many outdoor stores if you're 18 or older.

'Tis funny, though, how an image can trigger a memory.

You just put me in mind of a story I was once told by a good friend. When he was younger, he and a couple of other fellows were shooting a rifle in someone's garden. I think they were Air Force Cadets or something (in England). What they didn't realise until later was that the bullets were penetrating, and going beyond, the fence.

They were probably not shooting an air rifle then :) . If you're worried, don't be, there isn't a brick wall at where I'm aiming for nothing ;) .
