It wasn't too bad in the end... although, it could have done with some more episodes and they haven't left it in a strong position for a second series (although it's certainly not impossible). It ended up being about prejudice towards them, rather than turning back or joining that rebellion thing... Don't get me wrong, it made for an interesting storyline - one rarely explored in zombie stories - But it made all the set up of 'Ooh they might turn back' and 'Zombies are creating an underground army' pointless, as they weren't explored at all.

I think it would of been a better story if it wasn't zombies, but just people brought back from the dead (which before I watched it, I thought it was).

But then there wouldn't have been as much hate towards them, since they wouldn't have killed anyone.

Also, there was a pretty interesting storyline where you find out the main character had actually committed suicide, so you explore him and family coming to terms with that. If they were selectively bringing people back to life, it would seem unlikely that he would be at the top of the list to bring back.
