I'd definitely play/try a Supcom 3 or a Generals 2 or a Planetary Annihilation 2 or one of so many other cool ideas refined a little bit!

I'm just waiting for someone to make a base building mod for UEBS2 and then we can finally get the ZH sequel we deserve.

But UEBS isn't really an RTS, is it?

From a unit perspective, I don't see how it isn't. You can select groups of units and give them orders. Probably some quality of life changes required, but the core mechanic is there. Just need a base building mod and all the building blocks will be there.

You can probably make an RTS from its engine, but it doesn't really have factions, unit production, resources, balancing etc. or even really player AI, does it?

I mean, unless that all changed from UEBS1, but that game at least was really just staged battles.

Well obviously, I'm not saying you crank out a RTS mod in 5 mins or anything. All I'm saying is it would seemingly be a great engine to rollout a RTS in.

I want an RTS where I can spam dumb amounts of units. :<

That would be supreme commander.

I liked the size of the units in Generals, it was not small, not too complex, just right. Anything bigger would be difficult to manage.

Sup Com is excellent, but it lacks the goofy voices and unit designs. Most of Sup Com is played from icon view
