I'm trying to put together one or two roughly hour-long sets and I need software to do the transitions properly. It's mostly for my own use in very small gatherings.

Yeah that's what I thought at first, and I might use that afterwards as a way to foolproof it, but the basic mixing has to be in a DJ program. PP can technically do beat-sync and beat loops etc., but it's very laborious. What I'll probably end up doing is first recording the beat-synced loose tracks in Mixxx, then play around with and record the transitions, and then paste them over the tracks in PP.
