What game are you talking about?

When I was young, Timesplitters Future Perfect didn't live up to my expectations. It added in Halo things which TS didn't need (the story mode was quite fun though).

Starsector.

It's a super-deep top-down space sim game with a very developed universe, cool look, so much content, and incredible amount of things you can do. It's been in active development for over 10 years now and has a very active modding community too.

But it uses fleets rather than single ships, and the combat is just awful, you kind of loosely steer ships around and they control badly, plus most of the ships just do whatever they want. It's infuriating.

Maybe a mod that removes the combat? Just go FULL spreadsheet simulator.
