Not to defend my monstrosity too much, but the long belts are mostly for things that don't spoil. The only exception is feeding in stuff from the trees and I've not had issues with that spoiling. Everything else is directly fed or on short belts.

Either way, after toiling away for many many hours, I'm proud to announce... I shipped in everything I need to get off that hell hole.

I think I saw someone mention that they use drones to remove all unwanted things i.e. spoilage from crates etc and that that helped a lot. There's a setting for that apparently.

There are many ways to deal with spoilage, but thing is, it is bothersome and not fun. Spoilage mechanic does not fit the way i play Factorio at all.

Dealing with the spoilage isn't an issue - It ultimately goes to powering the factory, the issue is that stuff spoils in the first place. Especially the nutrients - They spoil so fast. D:

Yes, disabling nutrient spoilage (or agricultural science pack spoilage) will make that planet much more playable for me.
