I think you're putting too much emphasis on us. We're the equivalent of an old mobile phone with a cracked screen. At BEST we've been forgotten at the bottom of a draw.

At what point will we be replaced? How will you know the difference between my posts and the artificial enemy?

I don't mean online interactions. I meant using that kind of massive computing power, a very advanced ai can crack into anything and take control (assuming we don't find a way to encrypt by using those quantum chips)

Countries with no access to such tech will be completely at the mercy of big players i guess. They don't need to nuke, they can just take all your classified information and keep you in dark in 0.1 second.

But then, i talk like as if i know anything about quantum computing, just fantasizing

Well! I did look into some quantum computing stuff a while back.

From what I understand, QC will make our current encryption methods useless (to the point worthy of supreme panic), however, other encryption methods can be used which aren't vulnerable to QCs. I guess it's just up to the world to figure that out before the tech heads manage to stabilise several million qubits

Okay, it was a bit silly, but it still shouldn't have been cancelled.

Robot Wars was amazing, but also quintessentially late-90s. Even though it was amazing, the times moved on and the show didn't.

Not to say I wouldn't watch it today if it still aired though .
