It's kinda sad that when YouTube recommends a mix I now have to question whether it's AI generated or not.

It's good that YouTube force people to flag something as AI generated, but it's really hidden away.

I was having the same conversation the other day. The only way to truly know right now is to listen to a mix that's a few years old.

Yeah, I also found some music recently that I fear might be AI-generated. It's nice music too, though it lacks diversity.

This popped up on my home feed, and after our discussion around there not being any new electro swing, I thought I'd give it ago.

The image is AI generated (what the fuck is that piano ), but that in of itself doesn't mean anything, although I was immediately suspicious.

All the tracks are just "Track 1", "Track 2" etc., with no artist.

The individual tracks aren't even mixed, which is often a giveaway.

I listened for 20 mins or so, but it's just so soul-less D:

I think it understands motifs in the genre quite well, but there's little there that makes the tracks "pop".

I also feel like Steyoyoke's cover art is AI-made nowadays, for a while already actually. I much preferred their old hand-drawn black-and-white artwork, the new ones seem entirely pointless.
