Come to think of it, we do it quite a lot over here too, especially since opposite sides of the country can have polar opposites in terms of weather patterns.

No, actually it's munitores piramidum. Monitores is incorrect as it wouldn't make sense because it would mean monitors instead of builders (and they're not singing it), and pyramidum is impossible as Latin has no letter Y.
