Hitman Collection £7.49 y/n ?
If you like the genre, then definitely. Personally I love the Hitman games, though the first one does feel very old. Thought I saw it on Steam for considerably less than that recently, though =o .

Yeah, it was 75% off when I first looked, but I didn't realise it was for that day only. :/

Never played hitman, so don't know if I'll like it. D:

Other stealth games would give you a good indication. You could pirate Hitman 3, which is not on sale anymore due to some kind of royalty thing. It also happens to be one of my favourite games in the series, and will definitely give you a good indication.

EDIT: doesn't give any discontinuity either as Hitman 3 is a remake of Hitman 1, so you're not missing out on the storyline.

Haven't really played any other stealth games... I've watched the film if that counts. 8|

Don't really want to pirate Hitman 3 (don't have time to play it before the sale ends anyway).

Thief was just avoiding getting a tan and then magically nobody would see you :P . Though it's fun, to be sure. Hitman was much better IMO though.

Different games, both with their strengths and weaknesses.

However, the next thief (Thief 4) is going to be better than that abomination they are calling the next Hitman. Thief 4 is being made by the team that made the new Deus Ex (I and they have said that they are going back to the series roots eg: open levels, hiding and thiefing!).

Meh. I think I'm gonna skip getting Hitman (for now at least). I've already got a large number of games that I am trying to finish, and no free time to finish them in. 9 hours over-time over this weekend and counting. D;

Overtime pays well, means you can buy more games. Which you don't have time to play. Horribly endless cycle!

No Kyd, no original voice actor, stupidly linear levels (compared to the original), only set in America (not totaly confirmed, but It wouldn't surprise me), story that follows on from level to level, silly wall vision (what the hell?) and other things.

They turned an assassination sandbox game into a set pieced abomination (also, look at the companies track record recently, they have been releasing buggy and mediocre games. IO Interactive can't be trusted to do their own game justice).

Hmmm, these are fair points. Which is a pity because the trailer I saw actually looked pretty good :( .
