The brave hide behind technology. The stupid hide from it. The clever have technology, and hide it.

It's short for filter-in-turn. It's a fairly simple concept, that no-one seems to be able to crasp.
A simple example would be the road by my house. There is 2-way main road, with a 1-way road linking up to it. 1 person goes from the 1-way road, and then 1 person from each side of the 2-way road, and then 1 person from the 1-way road, etc.
It does start to get a bit more complicated when it's a cross-roads (and there aren't any 1-way roads), but it isn't that difficult to get to grips with.

You can see the speed read out on screen and a speed sigh is shown in that video so suck on that one Wiz!

I question the general assumption that i am inherently deficient in the area of grammar and sentence structure

It's nothing like a roundabout. Roundabouts you give-way to the right, no matter what (or presumably to the left, when you drive on the right?). Filters, you take turns. If anything, it's more like traffic lights, execept instead of a handful of cars going through from each road, only 1 goes each time.

Looks pretty pointless to me, but at least it isn't as stupid as a 4-way stop.
It just seems to be a roundabout where you go one by one, which really doesn't work anywhere where there is actual traffic (read: not Guernsey).

So it requires to live in a country where people would be civilized enough to respect the 1 vehicle limit, OR an island that only has 2 cars anyway
