The type of car people drive tells you so much about them.

If they drive a hatchback, they're car haters and only care about being a cheapskate,
If they drive a saloon car, they value class and style,
If they drive a coupe, they value styling, speed and driving experience,
If they drive an estate, they care about being bored and dull looks,
If they drive a shooting brake they're from 1921,
If they drive a van they're builders,
If they drive a pickup truck, they're rednecks,
If they drive an SUV, they have no penis.

Did I forget anything? |8
And what of those of us who don't need to drive? 8|

I guess we just laugh at you for having to pay for petrol, insurance and rego. :P

For the people who don't drive they seem to not possess the IQ to operate a complex machine :P
By what means are cars complex machines? :P

You should come down to our research labs and see the machines I work with :P .

We just laugh and smile :) .

That said I would like a car, it's just a shame it's impossible to have one at a fair price in the UK :P .
If you think vehicles are expensive in the UK, wait until you come to Australia. D8
To be honest, it's not actually the vehicles themselves here that are so expensive, but it's the extortionate insurance.

In Oz, how much would a 1986 190E (2L, 4 cyl) worth about £1500 be to insure for a, say, 24-yo driver with one year of previous driving experience?

Depends where you go but easily under 1k
Good, that's as it should be, but over here it's £4500 minimum Oo .

I think its time for you to move to straya! Theres a spare bed at my place 8|
Heheheheh, better watch out or I might cash in that offer sometime :P .

Gotta find me first :P
And honestly why would you pick Perth, If i could choose it would be Melbourne for me :xD:

I question the general assumption that i am inherently deficient in the area of grammar and sentence structure

Oh, just a PSA for everyone who might consider using Chronopost's services here : Don't do it. Fuckers don't even bother to knock at the door now, they just leave an "attempted delivery notice" in your mailbox and dump the the goods at a random post office...

It still looks like a toy though, it looks properly tiny for a modern fighter aircraft.
