Hmmm, not sure if Evil Hell beats Weird Alien Plan from W1 tbh. They're both extremely excellent - I replaced the whole Worms Armageddon soundtrack with the original W1 one.

You're probably right. I just have more distinct memories of Evil Hell or more specifically playing hell maps on my own, in the dark, and being creeped out.

It IS a particularly memorable track from the OST. Definitely a standout, it was very specific to the surroundings. I think Weird Alien Plan was also used on the junkyard levels (beside the Mars ones).
