I've seen a fairly crushing review of the game so far. In all fairness, Doom 4 was fun to play, although they do appear to have lost the plot a bit when it comes to the "Doom" part, so to speak .

Also, i consider Doom 3 as more doomy. When a new demon appeared in Doom 3, it was kinda scary and they were kinda powerful. In Doom 4, when you encounter a new demon, all you think about is how their animation looks like when they get murdered by doomguy's fists. So, i'd say, not much of a doomy feeling.
