I think this would go well with a VR Headset. Hard to imagine this was 2011. Hot damn.

Edit: Oh, and I'm aiming to convince work to buy it for me, so not too expensive

Since you have no special requirements, probably don't need an enthusiast-grade keyboard, and are budget-limited, I'd simply get a fullsize keyboard from a clone manufacturer. The vast majority of big brand boards add nothing but a fancy badge and double or triple the cost, so an off-brand keyboard is probably fine.
.
No noise means MX blue (or similar) switches are out, which leaves you with the most common alternatives of MX brown or red. Personally I can't stand brown, but red is linear, which doesn't always click () with people. Switches don't have to d Cherry MX; clone ones from Outemu, Gateron or Kailh/Kaihua are perfectly fine. Both are quite light; if you prefer stiff switches, instead go for clear or black (clear are generally more difficult to find though). Don't get anything "semi-mechanical", "mechanical-like" or "mechanical-feeling"; these are fancy rubber domes that are extremely hit-and-miss.
From a huge range of manufacturers, one even more obscure than the other, you should be able to get something like this for £35-40. Possibly the biggest limiter is the question; does it need to be UK and/or Mac layout?
