It is possible to track down those who prone to be criminals by observing them at high school age. Though i lack the knowledge to recommend how to prevent them from being criminals once the school is over. Or what kind of special education needed.

When i was a kid, i had symptoms of psychopathy, though how the fuck it got cured i have no clue. Maybe science dudes should look into it and figure out a vaccine or something.

Lack of opertunity. People turn to crime because they can make more money/power from it. The same qualities that make good criminals probably also make good businessmen.

it's interesting how the rest of the forum kinda just slowly died away a couple years ago already, and the remaining few active people here is really just posting here as a way to, idk, keep the "forum" semi-half-dead? this thread remained the most posted thread, but it's interesting how it's just this one and almost nothing else... i guess, is what i might be trying to say/ask/whatever

i suppose with discord and all that stuff, people just moved to those - much more instant, voice chats n all that good stuff

and the mod development sections also just... died out?

I get what you mean. I think that there probably isn't much thought going into this anymore. For me it's the joy of having a weird piece of the internet filled with in-jokes.

yeah i can understand that. i used to be super active on the chinese tieba for a few years before semi-retiring, but there's those one or two threads that i often go back to, because the people are still there for the sentimental value and being able to catch up with old friends

btw i'm assuming that someone has got to be paying some money to keep this running?

Depends what your budget is and what sort of games you're going to be playing. If you're planning on playing AAA games, they will work on the standard, but some might not be a great experience. Don't get me wrong, it's not going to be an amazing step up on pro either, especially when you compare to a top-end PC, but for some games you do get an option to change between high res or "high" FPS. If you're only going to be playing smaller / simpler games, you can probably get away with a standard PS4.

Overall my recommendation would be if you can comfortably afford a pro, then go for it. If not, then I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Thanks you. I originally wanted to upgrade my PC (Graphic card and cpu) to be able to play FFXV level of games atleast. But i figured i could get a PS4 instead and play such high demanding games on it instead of ugrading my pc.

But i wonder if FFXV lags on PS4 too

I played FFXV on standard PS4, and I didn't notice any significant issues at the time.


Disclaimer: While I will always prefer to run games at 60FPS+, most games will run at 30FPS on standard PS4. I am generally not bothered by this and I also don't normally notice dips unless they are really bad. If a stable (or at least more stable) framerate is very important to you then maybe Pro is the way to go.

I'd wait for PS5 but i know it will be expensive as fuck (probably around 5 months of salary) for me when it gets released so i have to settle for PS4. A lot of good games released on it which i did not play anyways so will keep me busy for years.

I haven't touched my PS3 and PS4 Pro for a long time, I only got them for a couple of games. Really a waste of money since they're just sitting there collecting dust...it's just that I spend so much more time on the PC...
