I started drawing something a month ago, i keep opening the photoshop file, look at it, but couldn't make myself draw. Then close it and watch or play something instead...

Yeah, I know... The problem is I'm not good enough to do what I ultimately want to do. I know I need to practice, but I don't really know what I need to practice. I tried sketching every day for at least a year. I made sure I put a date on all my sketches, so I can see a very clear improvement over time, but still really difficult to keep producing things you're only vaguely happy with.

I think you should stop trying to enjoy every end product and enjoy the process. Don't enjoy the process? Do something else!
If you do want to carry on, put your work out there and join critique groups. Someone else is bound to know how you can improve.

There is an excellent inspirational video by a 3d artist that is worth a watch. It's less about 3d art and more about creating art in general.
