Maybe you should stop posting from your work network and do some actual work instead.

I just sent a text by mistakenly sending one of the Google auto responses of 'Sure Anytime :D' (must of just tapped it with a finger without looking) when I am not free anytime. I now have a writing meeting at 1pm when I may also have an unconfirmed chat with my boyfriend at a similar time.

Technology is fighting against me D:

It's totally not. Google keeps trying to make me use love heart emojis with my boyfriend (HOW DOES IT KNOW?). Google just wants to see the world burn.

They are selling mobile phone tracking data to governments to see how much people are flaunting the lock down using parks.

They are likely giving away every single data they gather to the governments, when asked to.
Imagine the scale of blackmailing in the future. They basically know every little embarrassing thing about future politicians.

Probably not completely, but you can definitely minimise the amount of information is has on you.

- Use something other than Chrome as your browser (Firefox is one of your best choices for privacy, and basically your only option if you want to avoid Chromium all together)
- Use something other than Google as your search engine (I recommend Duck Duck Go)
- Block tracking cookies (Firefox has neat built in tools for this, but there are plugins that can work too)
- Use a VPN

The bit I really struggle with is replacing YouTube... there isn't really much I can do about that one.
