The weapon selection was pathetic! Very limited. I still remember that mission in the mansion that had several armouries in it. Much better <) .

But it had good lines |8

Sgt. Foley: Don't aim down the sight yet. I'm trying to make a point here. Just fire from the hip

Sgt. Foley: See what i mean? He sprayed bullets all over the damn place

Also, you don't get to choose weapons in the army :cone:

You get to choose weapons in the SAS.

Also, technically different branches have different weapons and you choose which branches you join.

Possible. Not in here though. They gave me a Radio for communication and a G3. Because i had a bit better education than the rest of the team, i was supposed to be in charge of the commando squad. Though it all stayed in training, i went to other assignments.

If you are an officer, you may choose the branch of course but that is likely the last thing you choose in the army, all the rest are decided by superiors.

I wanted to be sniper personally, but you don't get to even dare to say your opinions so :P

The Royal Marines have specialisations they choose (but obliviously are decided ultimately on merit).

The SAS (as far as I'm aware) get to pick whatever they want (within reason).

You weren't in the Special Forces, I guess :P . Genuine elite forces get to pick their gear.

No but as far as i know Turkish Special Forces does not get to pick their gear either. I have seen them all with only one type of gear anyways.

But if there is a secret special forces used for some dirty ops, then i don't know if they get to pick things.

Even if not, they probably wouldn't stop you from bringing your own gear, so if you were really dead set on something, you could get it yourself. Even some soldiers do this during wars apparently.

Well, surely if you just bought and AK-47 on the town square market, they'd let you bring it if you wanted? :P

What do you want?

Umm... That's a very good question.

Which you didn't answer.

Well it's not that simple.

It seems simple.

An excellent retort. Would be very useful in my line of work, considering people constantly ask things of me :P .
