I watched the whole series. It's a bit like Saw meets Battle Royale. Pretty cool, although I think the ending could've done with some streamlining.

Battle Royale was definitely the first Battle Royale thing though. Apparently the writer of the Hunger Games maintains she'd never heard of Battle Royale when she wrote it, but it still feels like a Western copy of it. A worse one.

Whn you think about it, Battle Royale was one of the most influential books and pieces of cinema of the last few decades. IIRC it's Quentin Tarantino's favourite film, too.
