Because it selects all the colour in the scene. Sometimes automated processes take longer than just brushing in a few colours.

yes but it wont if you quickly isolate with lasso, doesn't have to be precise, slight color change on furs near boot would be unnoticeable i guess?

I think you get away with a lot less when it's going to print, the page/ink is very unforgiving. Then I've got the licensor, the internal proof team, the editor and then the final checks to get through. If it's then printed and looks shit, that's potentially thousands of prints wasted D:

Ah you need to do the things Turkish way. Designing, licensing, internal proof, editing,final checking AND printing, all done by the same person
oh and all that for minimum wage
