Except that's not the case. There's plenty of music/tv/films not on any streaming services. Not to mention, you can't create playlists across music streaming services.

I never stopped doing that, that's my entire point . We've made some progress, but there is still no good legal means to get a truly wide choice of film, television and music.

Could you go down the indie route? I managed to get some work entering competitions (king Arthur's gold) and emailing companies speculatively.
I recommend getting someone to proof check your emails, I made spelling mistakes that might have cost me work. Ah, dyslexia discrimination...

I am looking through them but concept artist jobs for indie studios are rare, junior ones more so, remote ones even more so.

I guess i will have to improve my skills for a few more years, build an eye catching portfolio and wait for freelance contracts, could be easier than finding a junior one.

Screw indie studios, just approach programmers/modellers ect. on design forums/youtube. Say you'll work on some concepts for their project, you might get some payment upfront, or you can ask to be paid if/when the project makes money (and make a contract that says that). You could even do a few low paid / free jobs to build up a portfolio. At least your work would be 'out there'.

My first creative job in 2014 was from searching the local area for film companies, finding an email address and sending off a speculative CV (I was deleting emails and found it yesterday).

Thanks for the example, actually it might be good idea to work with very low payment for a while. I can survive with 100$ a month in here (with current TL-$ value difference and thankfully flat left from my parents and no rent)

I rather work for 100$ a month full time job online than doing slave labor here for 300 a month.
