The accuracy of their artillery leaves much to be questioned

Accuracy is not artilleries forte.

All you need they need to is strike fear and cause mental damage. My sister still suffers from her time in Afghan. Alarms would go off and she get dressed in combats and hide in a bunker. She would then hear mortar rounds firing off in the distance, never sure if one might hit (some got very close).

So apparently catapults can have a function in a modern combat environment.

I hope she's recovering from PTSD . Fireworks from celebrations must be a nasty time for her

I think fireworks are fine, it's just stress and tension. She also said the chopper gunners told her horror stories of them on the guns being told to fire and not knowing what at.

Sadly there's many sides to that story...cautious and paranoia are just two sides on the same coin. Good people manning those guns are put in a dilemma...

Pointless conflict carries on and the people suffer, not those in charge.
