although what I really miss is Picard's speeches, debates of morals and values and that sort of stuff. I love his diplomacy. In all 3 seasons, he's had practically no chance given the way the plot was taking him...but if anything that even comes close, is season 2 with the FBI guy. The way he handled it was great.

I will never forget the Tamarians and that episode where he ignores an alien ship's hails for a bit and walks around the bridge.
