Serves you right for still watching Star Trek in 2023.

If you're not watching Strange New Worlds, you're honestly missing out.

I got burned by Discovery. Is it significantly better?

I don't watch SNW but I hear the reviews are generally on the nicer side? There's ups and downs of course.

Yeah, I gave up on Disovery pretty early on, but this is significantly better.

There's episodic storytelling, moral ambiguities and 95% less unnecessary camera motions.

It's proper Star Trek again. :D

Discovery was kinda lost and even with season 4 that held great promise, it still felt pretty...underwhelming

The only downside is a number of characters were seemingly set up in Discovery and it makes me want to watch it to get the back story. <87

But after his openings, to be honest, he does tend to get a little fucking boring.

Me and Tom have floated the idea of some friendly vs matches. Might be nice. We can try and get some of the old crew back together. Maybe organise it through the discord.
