I think what most native English speakers struggle with is all the sounds of the Continental European languages that sound like you have either a
- potato (Danish)
- Tulip bulb (Dutch)
- half a bratwurst (German)
- baguette (French)
in your throat
Or alternatively, they're just complete nonsense like Finnish
That said, strangely I am ok with the Swiss German sounds which are generally more complicated than the North German/Dutch style ones which are a bit shorter but more gutteral
I think it really is something you need to develop as a kid to some extent, otherwise it's hard to change your vocal cords when you're older.
Of course, there's also a lot of ignorance etc with many Anglo people too (i.e. the fuckwits voting leave while they live in Benidorm
