A bit, yes. He's not as generically right-wing as Trump is, though. He's a populist, so quite left-wing, but his only party standpoint is that they hate muslims. They don't really care about anything else.

Thing is, it will still happen today or 100 years later, for exact same reasons. These people do not reform or change. I know because i come from same mindset, it took way too long for me to get out from it, thankfully i started questioning at young age (and i wasn't even "extremist")

Perhaps this is a question about which piece of shit will win in the end. I personally prefer the ones that has the capacity to reform and evolve for the better. Islam as a faith prevents any thought of reform or change. They just want to live like how people lived 1400 years ago, forever

A theory I'd like to explore at some point is the destruction of the right at the hands of war. It's likely that right wing people are more inclined to volunteer for war and also put themselves in the most dangerous situations. There must be many that survived who are people who didn't want to put themselves within the chance of violence or having to harm someone on moral grounds. Then there are those that return from war understand that it can never be repeated.

It's obviously a massive spiderweb of more issues, but without a war for the right wing people to fight and die for, they instead stay alive and spread their bigotry.
