That could be the case. If a war between NATO and Russia breaks out, i think NATO will get a backstab from Turkey (By not helping and letting the bases used to attack Russia)
Of course USofA knows that and that is why they are focusing on bringing military hardware to Greece and building bases there instead of Turkey.

Whatever that snake does is for himself and his dream of turning this country into an islamic state governed with sharia law.

And it is not decades away, it will happen as soon as in a few years. He already said they are working on new constitution for years, and that constitution will be anything but secular i guarantee it.
