Do you still need infantry models? I have maya, which seems good for infantry models to say the least, and I am learning at a very fast pace..... I can also do a bit of texturing if you need it......
I need sigs.
Yay first comment! Thank you Comr4de!

If I were an alien from a distant world, unhampered by the endless void of space for whatever reason, I would stay the hell away from these primitive, monkey-like creatures from Earth who are too busy slaughtering each other over subjects such as religion or ethnicity, who pollute their one and only planet and who praise mindless pop-culture personalities more than scientists and philosophers.

Wouldn't worry about being forgotten if i were you, this game is going to be great! From the videos it would already be fun to mess about in, with some nice maps etc it would be a brilliant Multiplayer game.
I'd love to help test stuff out for you, driving around the lil buggy would be fun!

i've been through this, there is no problem, i'm not using any of EA's materials, so theres nothing they can do, they engine is going to be made by me, the models by me, the skins by me, the particles by me and anyone else who helps. Also the games going to be free. EA can't do squat

what about intellectual property, surely EA can object to you using the likeness of there models

like what happened to halogen, they made all the models and skins, but because it was based on somebody elses intellectual property they got canned

i would seriously check it out before you carry on, you wouldn't want to have 3 years worth of worth then EA to turn around and say "actually no you can't make this game as you using our ideas"

just a thought

i know its the same as halogen, but they also had no right to shut down halogen, its just because they are such a large company they can strike fear into people, so they just give up without a sturggle

I'm not going to give in, even if they do 'ban' it, i will just realase it as shareware, they can't stop that

Ok let me help bob here, the mapping, i asked to try...and its nothing like worldbuilder...your makeing full blown maps here...3d...and everything...hard....like trying to make models in 3dsmax :P

its not a mod...its a full blown game :dope:

i've still to finalise the world maker, but it will probably be based off of the one you tried short stuff, i need to make it more compatible with the engine i'm making, i also need to add some more features, like builing placement and i will hopefully make it a little more user friendly as well

I'm thinking i may add only a few vehicles and make it more of a mini game rather than a full-blown story game, because ATM i really don't have much time on my hands :locky:

One must also consider that Bob is now the official head of the Domination Mod. RL also factors in there....somewhere.

@zill: Please refrain from making one word posts, as they are irrelevant and can be seen as rude in a topic such as this. Save that kind of post for the SYD forum.

And the game he is making is a stand-alone game. Those are gnerally the best and take a dedicated team. That may have also affected Bob as well.

Weve got a Software partition in our Company, and I´m there like 2 Days in the Week. Those C++ and Software Programming is just incredible Insane and hard work. I wish that I finally come to an End with the C++ Learning.

Anyway im getting :offtopic:

This sounds like a good idea. I liked renegade and how it really brought you into the cnc universe and I was always thinking about the same thing for Gen/zh. If you can pull this off, it would be awesome. Leave legalities out because, technically, modding is illegal too because it involves disassembly of the product which is against the license. So, forget about that.

Speaking of Renegade, have you ever considered starting this off as a Renegade mod?
