Have you been to a good resturant recently?

Last night i went out to the Saki Bar and Turkish Grill on Manchester's (UK) Curry Mile in Rusholme.
The resturant is a new venture on the property after a Carribean themed resturant went out of business late spring this year.
As i walked in the staff greeted me courteously and quickly directed me to a table for two. First impression was of friendly and adept staff. I sat down chatting and looking around, to my back was the Charcoal Grill. The coals were white hot but through intelligent design i was not subject to a sauna experience, a salad bar and selection of kebas were available for viewing but i did not parttake fo either. The menu was printed cleanly with descriptions and a couple of dishes had the Turkish names shown for the liguistically adventurous. Being a student i avoided the starter and looked at the main course selecting a shared "Saki Special" consisting of a selection of Kebabs served on a Pida bread. The Polish waitress had an excellent grasp of english and even entered into some light banter with me.
As an apetiser a loaf of pida bread was bought for us to eat. The food consisted of a chili kebab with just the right amount of spice not to flamethrower my bland English tastebuds, a grilled lamb chop and chunks of Chicken and Lamb. There was also a side serving of Chili sauce to add spice to our meal. A side salad and rice were also provided. The rice was done very well and not in the industrial manner which can leave it sticky and undercooked. For desert I managed to tear myself from the English ice cream and attempt a Baklava which consisted of thin pastry layers with honey and nuts.
The final meal cost including drinks (1 Beer & 1 Glass of Orange Juice) came ot £25, (40 Euros, $45) - not sure of exchange rates.
I would definatly recommend anyone who visits Manchester to have a meal here. 8/10

Noooo, go to Texas Roadhouse. If you love BBQ, steak, or BBQ chicken, this place is a must. Traditional country-western dining. IMHO, the steaks are 100x better than Doc Holiday's.

Thats a good one right there, another one of my favorites is Bennigan's. As far as a plain old burger joint goes my favorite is Steak and Shake, there they actualy give you a hamburger instead of of a little beef with your salad on a bun.

And some local restaurants.
I also went to a restaurant in P.E.I. 4 years ago and they served incredibly good lobster and steak. TOGETHER! ON ONE DISH! WITH A SIDE OF BAKED POTATO! P.E.I. POTATO!
