Vast US Army? At the end of the ZH campaign, they're actually withdrawing from all over the world to put those troops on homeland defence. Do you really think they'd do that if they could also just conscript a few hundred thousand people instead?

"With all due respect, sir. I did not know that how they knew how I wa-" She replied, but stopped when Zancloufer's hand raised up.
"I saw what you said at the debrief, I don't need to hear it again." The General lowered his hand as he pushed a small stack of photographs that she took at the Bazaar that day at her. "I'm sure you've already gone to the same conclusion as I did, but these don't strike you as something that Kassad would smuggle, would it?" Without waiting for an answer, he carried on as he flicked through the photos, some showing Stinger Missile racks, nondescript trucks entering a chemical plant and some random photos of armed men outside the said chemical plant, the General carried on without bothering to look up, "I'm quite that Kassad's probably not in our area, these look like the work of Thrax, it came along with the reports of some oil line sabotage and some commie nut-job selling off Nerve Gas dating back as far as the Cold War." E.V.E opened her mouth to protest, but was once again cut off by Zancloufer. "I know, the US media says that Thrax is dead, the body buried under his own Command Center where it quickly decayed due to whatever shit he puts in his toxins. But that's utter bullshit, you know just as well as I do that without a body, there is no proof that Thrax actually died..."
E.V.E, who until now was also looking with at the photographs she took with mild interest suddenly flicked through the pages, at a faster pace, until she came upon the satellite photo of the chemical plant, the trucks and the oil pipe line, which she slammed onto the Genera's desk as she took out a marker and highlighted the points that shocked her and then rotated it so that the General can see.
"Let's see, we have the trucks spotted at here where they stopped and loaded up at the old Irak chemical plant...then we have. Oh god." Zancloufer whispered as his finger traced the truck's route from the chemical plant to a old, but still connected oil-pipeline. "They're planning to pump it through the pump lines into...
"Baghdad, Kuwait and Jordan. The pipelines are sabotaged here, here and here." E.V.E carried on where the General left off, pointing out that whatever inside the now empty pipelines will go gushing out in a geyser at several damaged points along one of the populated regions of the Middle East.
"Oh god."
TBC. Getting sleepy.

Oh, and for something totally unrelated
"Hi. You are..Dr Thrax, right?" Juhziz raised an eyebrow as he eyed the man everyone feared for his biological weapons currently wearing nothing but a old T-shirt and his boxers, sporting a comb trying to tame his highlighted hair.
"Yes, and you are?"
"Juhziz, I'm sure that DeathStrike must have mentioned me to you at least once.
Thrax's mouth formed a comical O as he saw Juhziz made himself at home, sitting on a chair and reading his books. "Now, I'm not here to just chat, I'm here...what are you doing?"
"GET AWAY FROM ME!" Thrax screamed, holding his comb menacingly
"I assure you, I'm not here to talk about the..." Juhziz took a small step forward, hands raised to try and persuade Dr Thrax that he meant no harm
"I SAID GET AWAY!!" Thrax seems to have totally lost it, as he threw his comb at the Demolitions General.
"Get a hold of yourself!" As he took one last step forward, trying to shake some sense into the Toxin General. With that, Thrax had totally lost it.
"Get away from me! YOU MIGHT BLOW UP!" He screamed, as he jumped out the living room window from his two story home and made a ran for it down the deserted road, screaming about a walking demo trap.
"...I guess I'll just wait here till he comes back." Juhziz shrugged as he made himself comfortable on Thrax's chair again and flicked through the magazines.

Basically, it's everything +10years for the Russia media info pack, yes, it's now calle Russian Federation, but just largely veering towards the Communist side. So...myep, Russia basically got quite happy by 2020 and it grew in military might in 2022.
The story takes place in 2036 or unless otherwise stated somewhere.

It's going to take me a while to read all of it, but from what I've read so far, it's making sense out of whats going on between Shockwave and ROTR - a time-line that is indeed connected

Feel free to use this for reference in the Russian area.

China had achieved her dream of becoming a true superpower during these times, in which it cooperated with most of the world in search of profits and trade.
European and American profits sky-rocketed bringing forth a new age of prosperity to them aswell.
All these nations profited after the war but only one nation began to climb out of the mire of its troubled past.
The first two decades of the 21st century have not been kind to Russia.
After a series of lack-luster presidencies, Russia continued its tragic march.
The economy grew in baby steps, chaos ruled the streets, and many outlying areas were in a state of civil war....
In times of trouble, Russians look to a strong leader to restore order.
That man was Nikolai Suvorov.
With his charisma and populist appeal, Suvorov swept the elections of 2016, gaining an iron grip on both the Duma and the presidency.
..Russia passed from the hands of the doddering old corrupted presidencies and into a new generation of rulers.
With Suvorov at the helm, the Republic of Russia would rise once again.
Nikolai Suvorov is in, although Russia's great rise to power didn't change overnight but more of a fast paced, steep curve upwards.
Quote
With a steady cashflow from untapped oil reserves in the Siberian regions and the selling of arms to other nations, Russia was able to exceed its expenses and invest in manurfacturing facilites for the use of goods and have enough surplus to further replenish its Research Facilities and institutions.
By the end of the decade of true peace in the world, many nations expanded their influences in search of trade and profits.
Nothing to say..deedooda dum.
Quote
Nations invested profits into the modernization of these nations, cleansing the civil unrest and civil war that stirred the land.
Africa flourished with trade, goods, movement of people into the thriving cities, it had seemed Africa was becoming independent nations over the next few years and even mirrored those nations of Europe and the Americas.
However, it had seemed too good to be true.
The nearly unlimited number of resources were discovered, and the nations of China, the US, Russia tapped these resources with the blessings of the African nations.
These resources which included oil, natural gas, mine deposits and other precious metals were exploited and traded with their respected host nations.
Let's just say a third nuclear missile is going to hit somewhere where it's starts large continent that starts with a A but is not Asia, America nor Australia.
I'm still looking into the GLA part of the story. Watch this space for updates.

Now if this was some sort of movie, someone would slam his fist onto the table and declare "This is MADNESS!" and get shot by the Suvorov with a pistol. Fortunately for the staff, this wasn't Hollywood and nobody was shot. Suvorov continued, "Now, you will have to understand that this is not for personal gain, this is for the nation, for our people. We are just taking what is..what was taken from us for too long. Operation Foxhound will allow us to ascend to our rightful position as the sole and undisputed superpower, from now till forever. Everyone, you have your orders, Foxhound starts now."
With that said, the transmission from the Kremlin towards the Generals of Tactical Ballistics, Rapid Deployment and Advanced and Experimental Weaponry was cut.
TBC.
In other news:
"So how many nukes do we have ready for launch against Moscow again?" Tao asked.
"OVER 9000!!!" His lieutenant replied and the entire room burst into laughter
In Langley, Virginia, United States:
"..." The radio intercept at CIA Headquarters was broad casted throughout the entire room. At the moment, a lot of analysts suddenly browned their pants and the Head of CIA fainted.

It was also at this point where the military leaders and Stalin himself agreed that there must be a plan of some sort for future generations to follow in the unlikely event that Russia was invaded from all sides, NATO from the West, the Chinese in the South and the Americans in the East and North. That was where they commissioned the aid of Danil Sidorov. It was all very ironic, actually, the one who’s name means ‘divine justice’ in Hebrew writing the godless plan to save a godless nation. It was a ingenious plan, calculating who would could be saved and who had to be sacrificed in order to preserve the integrity of the Russian nation and the people’s trust that the government in still intact in the case of a war.
However, the eventual plan and report was not submitted to the Kremlin until early 1992, where it was forgotten and buried until Nikolai Suvorov’s regime revised it in 2018, once again under Danil Sidorov, where is was lengthened and revised to count China’s growing might and nuclear capabilities, the GLA forces in the Middle East in addition to the redeployment of American divisions throughout the world and the constant fear of an all out invasion along the Southern borders by GLA forces and the theft old nuclear warheads and bio-toxins within Russia itself, which all built a very grim situation for Russia and that was precisely where the second part - so secret that not even a title was given - steps in.
With Russia’s growing economy and military might under Suvorov’s leadership, Sidorov was enlisted to produce a multi-step procedure for as Suvorov put it: “The path that will right the wrongs and bring justice to those who have oppressed our Motherland”. The plans were put on the table only a week after the request for it was put out, a plan so complete, that went as far as to detailing our country’s Army, Navy, Airforce and Marines capabilities in addition to the cost and rate of our country’s rate to train the population into military force, the eventual change into a full blown war time economy, the initial casualty figures for both sides, refugees, logistics and the initial reaction of the countries involved, he went as far as to calculate how the personalities of the opposing force’s leaders would affect the movement and strategy employed and how far and how fast we could push without the enemy using it’s WMDs. Ingenious, isn’t it?
