Recently i was reading a magazine for airplanes and in there was an article about China's brand new fighter plane the J-10!

looks familiar?

maybe those two missiles are filled with napalm!?

More like the Generals Mig was based on the J-10 (the J-10 is also used in BF:2)

China banned it becuase the terrorists blew up the Tiananmen Square, but I say they banned it becuase China is defeatable, which to them, is unrealistic.

Yeah, although that doesn't matter cause in China nobody buys legal copies.

Also, the J-10 I believe has been out for a while, and is China's first home-made fighter (made in china...). I believe the mig in Generals is based on the J-10, not the other way around.

I read that the J-10 was actually based of a Isreali design which has been cancalled during the design-phase by the US government.

Actually, no. The J-10 is a fighter that was designed entirely in the PRC but has many design similarities to the F-16 and it has similar performance too.

The Israeli design you refer to, the Lavi, was a failed attempt to produce a home-grown F-16 Fighter by the Israelis.

The MiG in Generals is based on an old Russian concept plane. The Mikoyan Model 1.44. Look it up on google images if you want. THAT is the Chinese MiG in Generals, not the J-10. It may appear similar but the 1.44 is much closer a match than the J-10.

the mig in generals is a Russia Mig 1.44 (alternatively the Mig-35) prototype. In no ways is the Mig in game has any inspiration from the J-10.

China endeavours to develop these planes and name them the same order Lockheed Martin is doing. They are up to the J-12 now If I am correct and they want to surpass Lockheed when their J-XX numbers surpass the F-XX numbers. But now since the JSF is called F-35 there isnt much more logic in Lockheeds numbers .

J-11 is coolor though. Looks similar to an F-15 ^^ and I m sure it matches it. The J-12 is aimed to compete the F-22 Raptor...

Now that's being stereotypical.

The fact that the companies demand money for a game when the average income is so low is not exactly the consumer's fault. And when the censorship board bans any game where China has the possibility of losing, it's kind of hard to be legal copies.

Its just that the one in-game is massively oversized and more like the Halo rather than the Helix

The J-10 is based on the F-16 (only vaguely, not THAT much, but you can see the intake and stuff like that looks similar), nad the J-11 is an exported Su-27.

The fucking chinook can carry an overlord. Generals attempts to somewhat simulate a battlefield in the not so distant future and sort of sucked at it.

A real life chinook doesn't even have the capacity nor the power to transport even an MBT.

a chinook in generals cannot carry an overlord as it is classified as a larger type of tank then regular tanks and vehicles.

a massive hellicopter that could do those things would be something though....

But really I actually have the little helo and it is a real blast to fly.

Oh and China was also pissed because they thought it made it look like they were loose with their nukes

Speaking of a pissed China, after they banned RA2 and Yuri's Revenge, they had a bunch of guys mod RA2 so that it includes China and has so many over powered units that nobody would play anything but China.
Example: Conscipts get the Chrono Commando image, cost 100 but carry a long range machine gun. Basically, anything but China would die and the only way to win would be using China.

That's communism for you.
