My space station. This usually serves as a command center for nearby fleets. They also serve as defense platforms for planets held by the Geisepi Empire (my made up thing for this game).

--------------------------------------
Posted Image

They say mercenaries only have room in their heart for money, but this ship shatters that myth. They have room for money AND the stalwart Kepler. And older corvette class warship retired by the Geisepis, mercenaries decided to use it due to it's sturdy build and plethora of weapons.
--------------------------------------

The capital ship of the Geisepi Empire. They serve as command centers when there isn't an Ageia nearby. They are also used as troop carriers. They aren't really meant for outright combat.
--------------------------------------

This thing my be ugly as sin, but it makes up for it with an Aegis hardened shell and shock-blasters. Their gun platforms add further power.

The St. Eadlow is almost as hideous as the Scorpius. But it provides cover from interceptors and some armaments of it's own. These are solid cruisers. They work well with their cousins the St. Martins.

Yes, but not that far away. Most of the action took place close in, with the Yamato slowly circling the dreadnaught whilst trying to avoid hitting aegised sections. That is the Yamato's one weakness, aegis. To counter the aegis, a couple of Shokaku class carriers should ALWAYS be depolyed with it, carrying a full compliment of fighters and bombers, plus fighter-bombers and kamikazes in any of the auxilary carriers, should they be deployed.

That is what the Imperial Japanese fleet is about:

1)HUEG Battleships for massive brute force.
2)Very fast high preformance fighters deployed from large carriers to get to enemy weak points that the battleships cannot reach/damage.
3)Kamikaze pilots that act as poweful guided cruise missiles.
4)Destroyers and Frigates act as escorts to the battleships and carriers, whilst not very powerful alone, the offer massive protection in groups.
5)Very Powerful heavy bombers.

The clash of the individualism of the battleships and carriers and heavy bombers versus the swarming of escort ships and fighters and kamikazes.

The Dreadnaught operates best at distances. Doesn't do good close up unless you get in the Path of it's Main Beam.

Its main beam didn't really do much do too the armor plating of the Yamato. It did, however, manage to blast off enough armor at one of the Yamato's weak points to almost(there was one plate of armor left) get to an operational deck, which held together half the back end of the ship...

That did worry me, however, luckily I had some deflectors and that last plate of armor held out. The MASSIVE amuont of armor was due to lacking any aegis what so ever except for two, small sections. That is one thing you almost immediately makes the Yamato stand out from other ships of its size.

The current Yamato is more of a beta, the official version will be releaased with the rest of my fleet, since I am builing it from the weakest ships up.

EDIT: Ooooooh,Aaaaaah, Class five laser cannons!

If I can't beat the WCW5 with a practical anf fair ship, I guess I'll just have to use Eddy...

I didn't say I did, I said meant when.
I don't think it is very easy for these kinds of thing to be leaked, seeinh how usually it is only on one person's computer.

BTW:

Here is a preview of my Shokaku class aircraft carrier:

The two ships facing outwards from the sides of the carrier are Val bombers and the six ships facing forward in their launch pods are Mitsubishi Zero fighters.I intend to rename the Val, because the val is a torpedo bomber and this is more of the heavy sort.
