The one with the Aegis. I know it's crooked, but the bastard wouldn't straighten. >.<

Also, my Scorpio looks worse.

if you want a straight ship, build the top half of your ship and hit on the keyboard M to mirror the ship down a line of symmetry.
Plus, It's a job trying to take on Lizzie ships, with even the most pounding of them, she re-enforces her hulls with extra armour lining.
And while you have all been experimenting with ship maker, me and lizzie gotsa fleet worth each, well she has 2 fleets worth of ships that she has built so far.
but only one fleet in the same styling.

How can I make my Kirkov class battleship playable outside of sandbox mode?

Nid
23 Nov 2007
You can't unless you can code it into the official ships somewhow, you can also go into other areas of skirmish, and enable sandbox mode, so you have missions, with the ships of your shoice, but other than that, you will have to create your own scenario with sanbox.

lol, yeah it's meant to be balanced, though my stinger alone took out a leviathan. The game isn't based on incinvible ships and who's can blow the crap out of who's, it's all about well placement and battle strategy.
and my Stinger only uses 2 Aegis deflectors, and 2/4 standard deflectors.
Here's some of my fleet combat screens

You can only guess what that huge imba ship is at the bottom
Lizzie already knows.

Damn this game is addictive
I'm currently piecing together a fleet made of a wide variety of ships, inspired on WWII German stuff. So far, I've got these three:

Schwalbe - Fast attack craft

Schwalbe-U4 - Heavy assault variant

Wespe - Long range fire-support

I like my Diamond Cruiser tbh:

10 Flack Guns
4 Blasters
2 Rail Guns
2 Pulse Guns
4 Defectors
And the Assault Cruiser:

Don't underestimate the power of Agies deflectors! That thing is a tank, and can take more punishment that most ships in game

So, alright, I might be making them a bit overpowered.
But hey, it's fun to pit em against each other.
I present, the Paladin armoured cruiser!

The Paladin has heavy frontal shielding, but if you can get behind it for a prolonged period, you'll take down the deflectors and break through the defences. Why does it have heavy frontal shielding? So it can get close enough to fire 10 or so beamers at you. Don't worry, the firing arcs are pretty limited
... watch out if you get too close (I'll probably nerf them though, they can tear through anything it seems D:)
Also starring, the nasty looking Eclipse heavy destroyed!

The Eclipse is a pain to fight, because it has a ton of weapons all along it's four "arms", some of which are pointed backwards, to the sides, or forwards. There's only a small area to attack in the middle of the two arms, which contains the nano-thingies and the rocket-launcher thingies.
Other creations: Two square rocket launching ships, a point-defence ship, a low defence, high offence fighter, and an all around flanker. Oh, and some big battleships, some of which suck.

I'll devise a fleet point system so you can keep your fleet's balanced if anyone makes any, this was we can download each other's fleets and keep a fair game, so long as you aren't whoring the Aegis, and keep your ships fairly balanced.

Not a bad start, but you have some parent-child relationships gone wrong there. The upper part is childed to the bottom part, so if the bottom part dies so does the top part. It's better to just make half a ship and mirror it every now and again, so you don't get these weird parent-child arrangements and it's mirrored exactly, and not shifted a tad with respect to the other half. (It's not necessary to make the entire half before mirroring, it only mirrors pieces that are different. So you don't end up with six sections that are exactly the same on top of each other, or a feckload of weapons in exactly the same spot.)

Here's my 'Fleet battle' point system;
*Note: The balance of a fleet depends entirely on the balance of the ships you have designed, so if your ships are totally unreasonably armed, it is not a fair fight.
The classes are as follows;
Super-Battleships - Illegal (special scenarios only)
Battleships - 8 PTS
Destroyers - 3 PTS
Patrol Craft - 2 PTS
Fighters - 1 PT
Fleet battles can be battled out with 25, 30 and 40 points, whichever the player chooses, so long as the fleet's creator has a point plan for that system, eg. a 25 Point battle could have 1 Battleship, 2 Destroyers, 3 Patrol craft, and 5 Fighters, opposing 2 Battleships, 1 Destroyer, 1 Patrol craft and 4 Fighters
When a fleet is uploaded via Zip for balanced fleet battle purposes, it must include a readme with the point plans for each point battle (25, 30 and 40)
Also note that these rules are entirely my own, and arent officialin the actual game, it;s just a game mode I thought up.
