(Just to clarify right now, those are NOT Mega Tachyons. Just their sprites. It's the same method of hiding weapons underneath like Aralonia does)

The IVL-VH-M, "Velvet Hammer", is the IVL's flagship. It is currently the only ship in the entire IVL navy to wield the advanced weapons it possesses. It is unknown if more are/were being made, but just one is enough. By reverse engineering the beamer arrays the Aralonian navy uses, IVL engineers have made Ion beamer arrays. Though they overheat faster then regular beamer arrays, they allow the ship to fire Ion beams in any direction around the ship. It also features 3rd generation RMAC guns and Medium range low outage beamers. "Dusters" and "Quadshot" Railguns.

The Hammer also includes new "Side winder" missiles, these however were bought from a undisclosed buyer. These missiles will swarm and sometimes hit a ship behind it's shields.

Equipped also with low grade Ablative armor and 12 deflector generators. Also made with a much heavier Understructure then most other IVL ships. It incorporates new "Armored Spine plates" that make it much more resilient to "Decaping" that was made so popular in killing WCW series dreadnoughts.

Though equipped with a powerful warp core, the ship has not been seen outside the IVL home-system. The reason this is that the ship is the IVL's last resort ship incase their borders are breached or they need enough firepower to crack something.

In a simulated combat scenario the ship destroyed a IVL-R-SD "Ragnarok class" in under 20 minutes with little damage to itself.

Even more interesting, the Hammer is the first IVL ship to be classed as a "Monitor", apparently because of it's size and tonnage.


Armament:
. 8 3rd Generation RMAC kinetic cannons. (4 per side)
. 12 Medium range low outage Beamers. (6 per side)
. 4 "Duster" low impact Extended Range cannons. (2 per side)
. 16 "Quadshot" Mass firing railguns. (8 per side)
. 6 "Side winder" missile launchers. (3 per side)
. 2 Ion Beam Array systems (1 per side, each can fire a maximum of 3 beams)

Defense Systems:
. 12 Ion powered Deflector generators.
. 4 Gravity Impeder's
. 6 Point defense beams
. 8 Flack cannons

Propulsion:
. 8 Ion powered drives.

Thats how I got the name it took me 45 minutes so for the 3 hours and a half of work construction demolition and redisign the ship was called Hestia.

I love the sleek design of the new flagship. You switched the twin nacelles for delta wings, but still kept the design in style with your other vessels. I like the weapon loadout fluff and the backstory too.

We are from a heavy Terran supply convoy.We were ambushed with EMP weapons,then they boarded us and knocked us out with biological weapons. We awoke to find our ship drifting in a barren asteroid field near the edge of the star cluser,behind Japanese territory.Our navigator has said that we should be able to slip out to friendly or neutral territory fairly easily.They didn't even bother to steal our supplies, this is very strange...

An enginnering flotilla has been spotted at the very fringe of our G.W.B.D.S.S.(Gravity Wave Boosted Deep Spectrum Scanner equivalent of radar) screen!
They seem to be firing a projectile...

mssile at 250 miles-missile is decellerating

Right click on a section, there should be a change color option.

But the only choices are two shades of Green 0_o

EDIT: Looked under options, you can hit the colour under options to change the secondary colours XD

I made a SUICIDE SHIP! It's really fast, runs up to the enemy, and then BLOWS IT"S SELF UP! Possible Outcomes:
No Sharpenel is made, and the target just gets sent flying.
Sharpenel gets sent flying, and the target manages to avoid (most of) it.
The ship gets wind of the Sharpenel and takes heavy damage, or looses multiple sections
The Sharpenel travels through the target demolishing it eventually
The Missile Explodes under the core, and the ship dies.

A bit of luck/micro required, but it can do a thousandish damage, and is almost unstopable.
