Too small to be an MCV, blue-purple Scrin glow...

As for the setting, this probably takes place in the 2050s or 2060s, awhile after TW. (IIRC the actual time was stated in the preview)

However I have a feeling Nod will make at least minor appearances, as a C&C game without Nod is not a C&C game. (Unless it's RA or Generals universe)

The shape's exactly alike. Even the legs are nearly identical. I'm not saying it's a MCV, I'm saying it looks like one.

Lol, common, that´s BS. All this endless "GDI vs. NOD, GDI wins, oh look, next round GDI vs. NOD, GDI wins, oh look, next round GDI vs. NOD [...]" suXX 4$$. CNC is in an infinity loop currently and that is what drag´s it down, all those idiotic "I WANNA MA KANE!!! I WANNA MA NOD VS GDI!!!" flennboys should STFU and go for fan fiction. EVERY franchise that was thought to be able to live of the same shit over and over again went down the drain until only the demented die-hard nerds with 10-inch-safety-pink-glasses could stand its cretinism .

Zwei Hände auf dem heißen Herd bis einer flennt, geht aus einander!

who said that i wanted it nod vs gdi I just merely stated nod should play a big role in it not necessarily vs gdi

and its not BS nod is magor faction in the tiberium universe with out them the story is pointless imagine if all the tiberium games did not have nod they would lack a plot at all so they have become a magor part of the story so no matter if there vs scrin or gdi they need to be in story with there own goals and ambitions with out them the story just isn't a tiberium game

If there´s Nod in there, they are opposing GDI. That´s the only thing the two can do. They can agree on a cease fire, but at the end of the day da evul Borg Queen will have her minions attack. Wait, that was the wrong "repeat the scenario again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and" franchise, but it´s basically the same, just other faction names.
Also, TW showed that even with Nod, the story can be quite pointless.

The player´s squad/unit is supposed to battle Scrin at a peak of Scrin invasion - there´s at maximum room for a supporting role for a Nod subplot.

agian they do oppose GDI but they aren't without there own agendas other then GDI's destruction In fact kane was using the war to begin with so it wouldn't be out of the question that they could in fact have there own story mode but ea is just going to make a GDi plot becuase there going the A typical way for a shooter which is you can never be on the bad dudes team or supposable bad guy team

Seriously... when was Kane´s evul-dudze-plan [TM] to attract the Scrin by faking a liquid Ichor explosion by tricking GDI into using their IonCannon on Temple Prime so that his Liquid T(iberium) bomb would be detonate for which purpose he started the war by nuking Philly (isn´t it interesting how one can write his evul-dudze-plan in two lines without cutting anything of importance?) ever of any mentionable importance for TW´s story? I mean common, it´s not like "oh by the way, I thought you should know that [paste above evul-dudze-plan short version here]. Now go out and kick some 4$$!" is in any way more sophisticated than Dumbledore
Spoiler
Harry Potter 7.

GDI is only bound to be the good guys when there´s Nod to pose as the bad guys. Which is BTW what happened in every C&C up to date. Admittedly, GDI can still be the boring knights-in-shiny-armor-with-big-guns-to-blast-away-the-evil-guys, but at worse it´s the same as with the standard GDI/Nod plots.

Actually, up until Renegade, Nod wasn't inherently "evil" per se, but an alternate side (and GDI was simply the canonical force). Oh, sure, there were things like the Biyalistok massacre but there was nothing to really point to Nod's evilness. Nod was simply the side you fought against who committed a few war crimes here and there- like anyone else probably would.

Yea we gotta almost be thankful Nod didn't get the bad guy treatment like from other EA games. Like from COH Airborn (aka the worst WW2 game I've played. Wolfstein 3D was far from historically accurate but it was a blast in it's age) the Nazis are 'over-stretchedly' evil and completely cartoony. And the game has just so much propaganda it's sick. I usually never refund a game because I like increasing my collection but that game was just terrible.

But this one with the faceless and masked character looks like will be a Halo clone. Wow a rip off of a game that rips off from another games. Thanks EA for failing to milk 50 bucks out of this C&C fan.

Btw apparently someone agrees with me.

Yes. Except the 'C' was intended while the lack of 'E' was not.

About the name..An unimaginative kid on ritalin would think of something more badass then simply ''tiberium''.
EA is so Fucking LAZY its not even Funny anymore :P .
Please i hope EA dosent Mess this up like thay did with renegade.(i loved Renegade but could thay have spend more time on it?)And why CRYEngine? Unreal Engine 3 is not only Supprior But its also mod frendly.
Well i hope nod can be Playable.
But right now im more intrested in Renegade 2007 for Ut3 . :dope:

No, sure they weren´t evil. They were just the only ones with on screen murder, plans for genocide, large scale media manipulation, intentional slaughtering of civilians, drug bosses as military leaders, psychopathic and sadistic leaders [...] and what not. Indeed I can see your point... lol...

If it wouldn´t have been for "don´t worry, my friend´s down there, he´ll have the shield down in no time"-Boyle GDI would have an almost perfectly white west - not even Nod-Campaign Solomon in TS was exactly evil.
